Graduated from Fudan University and completed his studies in Economic Law in 1994; LL.B- Tongji University, 2001.  

Sun has handled nearly 100 litigation and arbitration cases of various types, thus gaining rich litigation skills and practical experience. As to the judgment and handling of each lawsuit case, Sun can not only examine and analyze the external legal relations, but also deftly dissect the crux of any legal risks in the internal management of the company. By doing so, Sun has effectively improved companies’ risk prevention and repair abilities, and guaranteed the effectiveness of every maneuver in the operation and development of the company. Sun has more than 20 years of practical experience in the legal affairs of listed companies, including more than 2 years as a legal affairs officer in a Global 500 joint venture company and nearly 10 years as a legal director for listed companies. Sun has not only accumulated various kinds of experience of corporate legal work, but also accumulated a great deal of practice experience in civil and commercial legal work through specific projects. Sun also has accumulated a wealth of experience in the legal fields of Sino-foreign joint venture projects, foreign investment, factory construction investment projects, and foreign mergers & acquisitions projects, and he is also adept at cooperating with enterprises to effectively complete project construction and legal support work. This gives Sun an advantage over those without such professional experience. Sun has represented a number of companies in dealing with trade dispute cases involving no fewer than six countries since 2006. In the process of responding to the lawsuit, Sun has improved his legal expertise and professional ability on trade disputes, and has accumulated work experience in assisting the effective cooperation between professional teams and corporate internal support, giving him an advantage over lawyers with only legal knowledge in the field of trade disputes. Sun is well versed in the legal business areas of corporate governance, contract disputes, corporate mergers & acquisitions, and foreign trade disputes.

Sun represented the Chinese side in handling the Sino-foreign joint venture project between a state-owned listed company in Shanghai and a Global 500 enterprise, also managing the subsequent share withdrawal project for the Chinese side; Sun represented the Chinese side in handling the Sino-foreign joint venture project on introducing the investment of a Global 500 enterprise into a state-owned manufacturing company in China; Sun provided the whole-process special legal services on the establishment, land purchase, factory construction and project construction of three manufacturing companies in Rugao in Jiangsu Province, and Chongqing and Wuhu City in Anhui Province; Sun provided special legal services and conducted relevant anti-monopoly review on the mergers & acquisitions of a manufacturing company in Urumqi by a state-owned enterprise in Shanghai; Sun handled the special legal work in response to the dual investigation filed against foreign trade with China.

In 2018, Sun was hired as a guest lecturer to give lectures at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
