Furthermore, in the "Mr. Bao's Illegal Dismissal Case," both Mr. Bao and his colleagues were dismissed by the company for identical reasons. However, due to differing legal representation, the outcomes diverged—Mr. Bao prevailed, while his colleagues did not. He frequently travels across the country for court proceedings and has taken on numerous cases where the initial verdicts were unfavorable, necessitating retrials or appeals. In a single month of 2025, he successfully overturned two consecutive first-instance court judgments. The first case involved Liu Min's illegal dismissal, where the Ningbo Intermediate People's Court in Zhejiang Province reversed the original first-instance judgment. The second case concerned Jiang Cong's forced resignation, with the Suzhou Intermediate People's Court in Jiangsu Province also overturning the initial judgment. The appellate revisions in these cases have significantly advanced the protection and recognition of the health rights of sick employees by Chinese enterprises.
